Josh Stevens

Managing Partner


  • Prior to Del Sur Partners, Stevens was the Vice President of Finance at U.S. Energy Development where he evaluated over $500 million of upstream O&G acquisitions. Additionally, Stevens was responsible for budgeting, planning and commodity hedging.  Prior to U.S. Energy Development, Stevens held finance, operational and investor relations positions with Range Resources and Orla Drilling Company.  Stevens started his career in the Upstream O&G research practice at Stephens Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas.  
  • Stevens received a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Harding University.  
  • Recently, Stevens was recognized as an Oil & Gas Investor's 40 Under 40 Recipient (2021).  
  • Stevens is also a CPA in the state of Texas.

Taylor Morris

Managing Partner


  • Prior to Del Sur Partners, Morris was a Vice President at Layne Water Midstream where his primary responsibilities included commercial business development.  Prior to Layne, Morris led the development of Kimmeridge Energy's freshwater infrastructure in the Delaware Basin.  Additionally, Morris has held several positions in Midland, Texas centered around water management and deal sourcing for several large landowners. 
  • Morris received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Harding University.
